The fully adjustable Black Diamond Momentum AL climbing harness can be used for nearly any style of climbing during any season.
- Padded, bullhorn-shaped waistbelt is ergonomically designed for all-day comfort; soft lining won't irritate skin
- Adjustable leg loops let you add layers for cool-weather climbing and are droppable for quick entry/exit while wearing crampons, plastic boots or skis
- Four pressure-molded gear loops cleanly rack quickdraws, cams and ice screws
- Dedicated belay loop adds convenience and safety; full-strength rear haul loop allows you to trail a second rope on long multipitch routes

I've never owned a harness, climbed with plenty of rentals though. This is great. Comfortable every where you want it. I wear a 31 waist, sometimes 30, and bought a medium. It fits, but only if I have one layer underneath (pants or shorts). If you are even a little over a 32, or plan to wear outside to climb with more layers, assume it will fit small.

I am using this harness for many different applications, such as indoor climbs, outdoor climbs, and bordering. I also work as a belay for hours at a time in this harness and have always been comfortable in it. The only problem I have with it is that I'm in between sizes and I had to get the xl and it is just the slightest bit loose but not enough for to seriously complain. FYI I'm about a 35 inch waist. I like this harness alot!

This harness is great for indoor or outdoor climbs. You can hang in this for hours and it will be comfortable the whole time. I definitely recommend this harness b/c it is affordable and comfortable. Plus the legs are adjustable so you can use when you wear more layers.
