Comments about REI Camp Table XL:
This thing is a lot bigger than I thought it would be!! It is easy to set up and tear down and the material looks like it would clean up very well. The description says "adjustable" but only 1 of the 4 legs is adjustable, I don't really see this being an issue unless on very rough terrain. I have not had a chance to use it yet, but it feels like it could handle a good amount of gear. To big and heavy to use for backpacking, but great for car camping or base camp.

Comments about REI Camp Table XL:
Took my Table XL to a cub-o-ree (camp out). Ideal size and weight. I set up on a hill, I thought at least 2 legs were adjustable. Unfortunately only one leg was. If it is uneven ground, fine, a slope, not so good. Still very functional and sturdy. This was my first campout with the table, I will carry it from now on. Lightweight, easy to carry, easier to transport.

Comments about REI Camp Table XL:
We love to camp with the kids (2 nights) on primative islands on our lake. The table is durable, easy to set-up, break-down & clean. Worked great for use with our camp stove. Plenty of room. Great camp kitchen workspace. It is perfect & a must. Would not want to try to carry it in for a hike of any distance.

Comments about REI Camp Table XL:
Works as advertised, well built, a little finicky to set up, just takes a little patience. I've recommended it to friends who need ample table space.

Comments about REI Camp Table XL:
These are great tables to have and they are as compact as a folding chair. I have an older one which is smaller and was elated when they came out with the larger size. The one adjustable leg is a major improvement. I use them for car camping and also as a Canning Station at home. I am now looking to buy a 3rd for a gift.

Comments about REI Camp Table XL:
I lucked out and picked this item up from an REI garage sale. We have friends over a lot and I will be using to set up with food on. It was easy to set up. I did by myself in maybe ten minutes. It has plenty of space as its almost as big as my dining table! I agree with others and I wouldn't want to carry it for too far. Maybe half hour and that's about tops! It's about six feet long and the strap isn't padded so that would be the reason there. Overall a good item and I'm glad I grabbed. Will also be great for rural camping or large campsite groups when you just need a bit more space for cooking etc than the one picnic table on site!

Comments about REI Camp Table XL:
I got this table for the ease and convenience it would offer in many different uses. I have used it as a writing table for 5-day stretches, with piles of books and papers on it, a task table in the garage for projects around the house, and (it's intended use...) for day trips and outtings, picnics, beack parties, etc. It rocks! A word of caution: This table is too bulky folded up to take on long hikes (it folds up to a narrow width, 8" in diameter, but the legs are long, making the package 4'8" long. The exception to this might be if you have a group of 4-6 doing a relatively short hike into a spot, maybe 12 miles or less, on an open trail. One person could carry a lighter pack and throw this table up over top. It's not at all heavy, just ackwardly long. When I did this, the folded packed table stuck out about 16" on each side of my shoulders. This is a minor issue for the value and excellent multiple uses of this lightweight table.

Comments about REI Camp Table XL:
I got this table last week for family daytrips and outings. I ended up using it for the last week at different job sites to spread out books, computer, cafe latte, etc. Works great, easy to set up, packs quickly, lightweight. It is made of aluminum, so cannot withstand a lot of weight focused on one point, but is the perfect height for a camping table sit-in, working or studying. Good deal for the dough.

Comments about REI Camp Table XL:
This is a great table that has been used on family camping trips and even has been taken on canoe trips. It's not something that you would want to carry for any real distance as it's a bit large, but considering the size of the table when it's set up, you can't really expect that it would fold down much smaller. I think it's really high quality and am very happy with it.
