Comments about Pearl Izumi Attack Bike Gloves - Men's:
At the risk of sounding redundant to already placed reviews, I bought these gloves at REI and used them twice in warm weather for road riding, and the gel in the top are already gone completely while the gels in the thenar areas are really starting to wear down. I plan on purchasing another pair of gloves really soon.

Comments about Pearl Izumi Attack Bike Gloves - Men's:
These gloves lasted less than a year for me. I just returned from Moab. The gloves had worn down and my hands were feeling every bump on the slickrock. The padding (or lack thereof) was really making my hands uncomfortable. I like the face that it's a cheap pair of gloves. I'd recommend it if you were short on cash and realized you might be getting a new pair in a year or so. But as for me, I'm going to invest a little more for my next pair of gloves.

Plan on getting a new pair each season because the padding wears out really fast. Thankfully they only cost [$] so you can afford to get some new ones.

I put about 200 miles on these gloves when they completely shredded. I was surprised Pearl Izumi would sell these, since most of their other stuff is high quality. The good news was that REI let me return them!

Comments about Pearl Izumi Attack Bike Gloves - Men's:
I purchased the Attack bike gloves at REI for my road bike. They really fit my hands well. The padding in the right places for road biking when most of my time is on the brake hoods. They look simple but pad my hands sufficiently. Mine lasted all season, (been through the wash many times) and are still going. If they ever rip I would buy the same ones to replace what I have now.

These gloves really do not hold up under normal use. I've worn holes between the thumb & index finger & the material holding the gel padding is tearing away.

Comments about Pearl Izumi Attack Bike Gloves - Men's:
I use these gloves for road rides. For my purposes, I found the padding OK. However, the fabric on the palm of the gloves seems to be really cheap and not durable at all - this is the fifth pair of biking gloves I've had in my life, and these are by far the worst, because I've only had them for maybe one-third of the time I'd hoped, and already the fabric on the palms is literally falling apart - there are huge tears and holes. that's never happened to me before! I actually had to just take off the gloves halfway through my ride the other day, because I felt like they were about to fall off. I will definitely get different gloves when I get new ones, which will be ASAP.

I bought the gloves and took them MTBing the same day, when I was done I had worn down the padding considerably. I took out the road bike and took off for awhile and wore down the rest. I wouldn't bother buying these gloves, they wear very quickly.

Comments about Pearl Izumi Attack Bike Gloves - Men's:
This is one of the few light fingerless gloves that doesn't cause me discomfort in the webbing between the thumb and forefinger. It's and average glove in some other respects, but is not very expensive and works just fine for the road riding I do.

Comments about Pearl Izumi Attack Bike Gloves - Men's:
I ride a road bike approximately 75 to 100 miles a week and switch off between two pairs of these gloves and getting ready to buy a 3rd pair (allergy runny nose while riding if you know what I mean--can't do laundry every week). I wash the gloves in the washing machine regularly and hang dry them. One pair has 2000 miles on it and the other 1000 miles on it. Not sure what other reviewers are doing with their gloves, but neither pair with all that use and washing has a tear anywhere. These gloves also fit perfectly--form to my hand and don't leave gaps that can cause blisters. I will agree with some other reviewers that after approx. 500 miles the padding starts to compress, but the glove holds up, and I rather have that than thick gel where you can't feel the bar. These gloves provide for precise handling. I think they are the best on the market.
