Great lightweight carry on

    Comments about Eagle Creek ORV Gear Bag:

    Got this to use as a lightweight bag for travel and works great as a carry on. Even though the bag is technically larger than the allowed carry on size (it 49 total inches, while 45in is supposed to be max size) it fits well in the overhead bins of planes. Even better is that this "larger" bag actually fits on in the regional jets with only 3 seats across, while the typical boxy wheeled suitcase has to be gate checked. Pretty sure this saved me from missing a connection with a very short layover since I didn't have to wait for it from the gate check.

    The much lighter with greater capacity than a similar wheeled suitcase or duffle. I can fit a whole lot more than I could with my old rolling carry on suitcase. Now I can save on the

    The hide away backpack straps worked out better than wheels while traveling through New York city going up and down curbs, through crowded sidewalks and subway.
