    I bought the XT M772 Rear Derailleur to replace 6 years old Shimano XT RD-M750 because I was having issue with shifting and having chain sucks. I tried cleaning and grease the old Rear Derailleur but it is just a temporary solutions.

    I decided to purchase the new XT M772 Rear Derailleur with the REI member 20% discount. The Rear Derailleur is very sleek, nice looking and solve my chain suck issue. I have been using it for almost a week but I am not 100% happy with the shifting. I still find it very noisy when shifting down. I felt so much friction for new derailleur and not smooth during shifting. I am not sure if the installation was not very good (Installed by REI technician) or faulty product. I need to bring it back to REI to get it tune again or some adjustment.
