Comments about Nemo Nano 2 Tent:
I bought this tent last season. I've traveled with it to Big Sur, Black Hills, Badlands, Yellowstone, North Cascades, and Allegheny Nat'l Mts. It's a great 2-person tent, if you require minimal space. The no-rain fly waterproof design is clutch for quick setup and eliminating excess material. The interior pole design is a pain at first, but once acclimated to the process, it's effortless. Yeah...it's expensive, but I'm hoping it lasts for years.

Comments about Nemo Nano 2 Tent:
This tent is great! Easy set-up and light weight. I have only set it up in my living room, so soon as I take it out into the wild I will write another comment. So far I love the way it looks, and set-ups.

Comments about Nemo Nano 2 Tent:
Simple 4 point interior setup..if you think this is difficult to setup then you might want to practice once before you take it to the backcountry...giving a product a 1 out of 5 because you weren't smart enough to set it up before you hit the trail is silly..it may not be as easy as an exterior frame tent.. but it is still so simple that...here it comes...A Cave Man Could Do It :)

Comments about Nemo Nano 2 Tent:
The setup isn't much like any other tent I've owned, but after a few practice runs it works really well. The tent packs separately from the poles, in a roll-top compression sack - this means that this tent packs better into my 35L pack than even my one-man tent.
The tent itself is very comfortable inside, and I am nearly 6'5". I have slept out in it during a pretty heavy rain and condensation was minimal in the body of the tent. It did collect a bit on the rain fly but this is not exactly a huge issue; in general the vents work well and traditional fears about owning a single-wall are unfounded with this tent.
It's a little on the pricey side, but Nemo offers great customer service and the tent is exceptionally well-constructed with plenty of thoughtful design features.

Comments about Nemo Nano 2 Tent:
This is a very unique and solid product. All materials are high quality and the quality of construction seems to be consistent and solid.
Setup is tricky at first due to the interior pole design, but after figuring it out, it is very fast and simple. The interior uses velcro tabs to secure the poles and they are a little bit tedious, but effective in keeping the poles in their appropriate place. Once set up, this tent is very sturdy. The tent is roomy and has good height. I am 6'2" and I do fill the tent length, but it is long enough even with cold weather gear. The vestibule area is sufficient for wet boots and a frame pack, leaving enough room to cook out of the weather.
I have used this tent in the high country of Colorado in wet conditions and light snow. No water came through the material from either the roof or floor, but I experienced condensation. HOWEVER, every tent on the trip including a Hilleberg and a Mountain Hardware tent also experienced some condensation.
Overall, I recommend this tent for anyone who is looking for a lightweight tent that packs minimally and is very light for the generous interior space.

Comments about Nemo Nano 2 Tent:
We bought this for backpacking trips, since it was lightweight, roomy, and there is no rain-fly. But, we soon discovered looks are deceiving. The design of the poles inside make the tent very difficult to set up. I can only imagine the nightmare of setting up this tent in the rain. I certainly don't want to find that out.
