Comments about Shebeest Boardrider Capri Pants - Women's:
The best thing about these pants is that they look great. I am constantly complemented on my pants, and many of those who complement me don't even know that they're padded cycling shorts. I usually wear these pants mountain biking, and they've held up very well against abraisions such as branches and falls. The inner chamois is soft and there are no seams to chafe. I have several nice pearl izumi shorts, but they don't even come close to these in terms of comfort. I wear these pants in winter and in summer. In winter I may add leg warmers to stay warm. Many of my co-workers and cycling students have bought these pants after seeing me wear them.

Comments about Shebeest Boardrider Capri Pants - Women's:
I returned to riding about 2 months ago. As I am in the over 60 crowd, I was not interested in shorts or tight fitting capris. So these are perfect. I ride 6 days a week 12+ miles a day. They look great, hardly notice the padding and I can go from bike to store without being self conscious. They fit great, the padding is perfect. I sometimes wear the pants without the padding because they are perfect for walks or hiking or just knocking around the yard. I highly recommend them.

Comments about Shebeest Boardrider Capri Pants - Women's:
I bought a second pair because I ride so much. I had tried several other brands and they tend to get very bunchy in the crotch or just incredibly unflattering. Some people don't like light padding, but I find it perfect. I typically ride 2-3 times a week at least 10+ miles each time and I never wish I had more pad. And most people don't realize that you are wearing riding bottoms which makes it easy to go from trail to public without looking out of place. I also like the length. When the sun is beating down, it protects my legs from getting burnt. I also wear knee pads and the material fits perfectly over the top.

Comments about Shebeest Boardrider Capri Pants - Women's:
I'm a mountain biker and I wear these almost every time. I love them.. I've tried other brands and SheBeest gets womens' curves and need for comfort. They fit awesome, super comfy-considering bike shorts are never that comfortable. I cut the bike short out so I can take them off when I'm done riding and just wear the outer capris. I like that they cover my knees so they don't get all beat up on the trails. I've fallen in them and they are super tough... no holes. I like them for not too hot days (although I've worn them in Moab) and cooler days...very versatile.

Comments about Shebeest Boardrider Capri Pants - Women's:
These are the best cycling pants I've ever owned, hands down. I commute to work and also do long weekend rides, and these work for both. At first I was concerned about them chafing on longer rides, but that hasn't been an issue at all. The padded shorts inside aren't bulky, but do offer padding, and are nice and soft. They are removable, and I often will take the shorts out and just wear the pants (minus shorts) on the weekends as casual summer pants. I get tons of compliments each time I wear them.
I wore these on a week-long bike ride across Iowa (RAGBRAI) on a couple of riding days, as well as most afternoons after the riding was done (without the shorts). They held up beautifully, never got wrinkly, despite packing and unpacking daily, and can be washed and dried quickly and easily. Because the material is so light, they're great for hot days.
Oh, one more thing: I added a drawstring. I've got "curves" (i.e. some pretty serious hips and bootie for a cyclist) and often buy a size L even though the rest of me is a medium. This results in some gapping at the waist, and I have to do this with a lot of pants. These have an elastic button contraption to adjust the waist, but it just didn't get tight enough, so a quick drawstring addition did the trick.
If you don't love strutting your stuff in spandex, these are the pants for you! It's worth every penny!

Comments about Shebeest Boardrider Capri Pants - Women's:
I had been looking for some cycling capris (not the tights variety) to wear while cycling. Based on the great reviews by other cyclists, I bought a pair yesterday and wore them today on a windy, 50-mile ride in rolling hills. They're exactly what I hoped they would be! I did cut out the padded liner shorts as I have a comfort saddle and don't need padding, and the capris were still perfect. I agree with the other reviews that the waist seemed a bit loose when I brought them home. However, I discovered that Shebeest was ingenious in their design in that there is elastic that runs through the back waistband, and the elastic has slits in it - almost like buttonholes - that you can attach to buttons that are located on each side of the inside waist to cinch it to the exact measurement you need. I cinched it to the third hole in from each end so it was nice and snug to my back waist, and it stayed that way through my ride today. The fabric dries really quickly and has enough stretch to allow one to move easily. We stopped for lunch at a restaurant and I felt 'dressed' and stylish, not self-conscious as I usually do in cycling shorts or tights. They're the perfect combination of very functional cycling pants and very cute capris for off-bike wear. I highly, highly recommend these.

Comments about Shebeest Boardrider Capri Pants - Women's:
These pants are superb. The fit is right from waist to thighs and don't leave nasty rings around these areas. The padding is thick enough to support during long rides on a road bike but far to thick for a very cushioned saddle. They wash and wear well and give the appearance of capri pants, not cycling pants.

I was told not to buy shorts with attached liners but when I read all the reviews on these shorts I just had to try them on. I looked in store for 3 days and I finally spotted them behind some other shorts of the same brand. The minute I tried them on I knew I was taking them home. They were not only comfortable and stylish like everyone has been saying but you cannot tell that you have some padding underneath. Riding in them was pleasant and I was not desappointed. It looks like they don't have enough padding but they are have just enough for a comfortable ride. I bought a medium size: I'm 5'3, 28" waist. I usually buy size small. I would go in store to try them on. I'm a bit curvy and bottom-heavy. I truly recommend these to all the gals out there!

Comments about Shebeest Boardrider Capri Pants - Women's:
I bought these as my only bike shorts because I wanted something functional, but also practical for outings where I'd be doing more than just biking. They are super cute and very flattering and I feel totally comfortable shopping, having lunch, whatever in them.
The padding has been sufficient for short rides. I like that they feel padded, without feeling like I'm wearing an adult diaper. I haven't been on any long rides with them yet.
I have a high waste and the waste on these shorts runs low, so they feel a bit snug when I put them on, but once I'm riding they feel totally perfect. Even though the waste is snug, everything else fits great.
They are an 'investment' piece in terms of the price. I'm not completely convinced they are a great value, but so far I have no complaints about the quality, so take that as you will.
