Comments about REI Ti Ware Nonstick Titanium Pot - 4 Liter:
Used it backpacking and loved it, the lid is also a fry pan making it more useful. Loved it.

Comments about REI Ti Ware Nonstick Titanium Pot - 4 Liter:
I bought this pot a few years ago in one of rei's legendary sales for [$] and have kicked myself ever since for not buying another. Yes the handle as previously mentioned is heavy however the other benefits far outweigh this, i use this in conjunction with the MSR 3pc titanium set and am always covered. I just wish that rei would produce a similarly generous titanium fry pan.

Comments about REI Ti Ware Nonstick Titanium Pot - 4 Liter:
Used this pot for a March trans-Sierra XC ski trip, Mammoth to Yosemite. Large size is great for melting snow and cooking for party of 4. The thin bottom burned and warped with the first melting of snow over an idling Whisper Lite stove. I had to add water to melt snow. To cook food w/o burning, I had to use my heat diffuser. The handle is nice, but too stout and heavy. I suggest taking weight off the handle and making the bottom thicker so this pot would be more usable.

Comments about REI Ti Ware Nonstick Titanium Pot - 4 Liter:
This pot is a big step in the right direction. Larger pots are very necessary in winter or high altitude or with larger groups. The handle is a little heavy, but it works very well (a necessity for larger pots). Now, if only I could buy 6, 8, and 10 quart titanium pots of this design, I'd be in guide cooking (or at least carrying) heaven!

Comments about REI Ti Ware Nonstick Titanium Pot - 4 Liter:
Given the high price, this pot is surprisingly heavy. The stainless steel bale handle is overkill, and the lid should be designed so it could also be used as a frying pan. It is a great size for melting lots of snow for drinking water, as is necessary with Winter or high-altitude camping. For the price, the customer should get a little less weight and a little more versatility.
