    I have used this book for two years. It is the best, most complete resource for dayhiking along Highway 395 from Tuolomne Meadows, Yosemite to Lake Tahoe. These guys have cherrypicked all the best trails and since this is their beat, ya get the inside scoop and huge selection. They don't go into minute map detail, just get you to the trailhead, give you the distances and elevations and get you headed in right direction. They are really in tune with the place and make discovering the high country a real adventure.
