    I'm a dabbler in rock climbing and parkour, but do plenty of hiking. I usually do everything in shorts, but once in a while, longer pants are necessary for the protection. There are 2 prominent features of these Cragrunners that are hard to find: excellent fit and construction. The waist and butt fit perfectly, the thighs and legs are comfortably loose and not baggy. The crotch is gusseted and knees have thicker material (I need the flexibility and abrasion-resistance). -- I haven't tested these out in the wild yet, but are extremely comfortable for day wear.

      excellent pants, for someone who's extremely picky about pants. the fit is absolutely perfect. the only thing i would change is to make the front pockets a little deeper. worth the price, they will last.

        I have taken these pants to 4 continents since I got them and you'd never know they weren't straight from the store. I've never come across more durable material in cotton pants that weren't army issue - my pit bull pulled on the cuffs one day and didn't even manage to tear them. I wear these to bars and feel perfectly comfortable that they are stylish. I wear them all year round when I need a pair of durable, windproof, stylish pants. Slowly they're replacing my army issue BDUs as sturdy work/camp pants.

          I look for quality first, price second. I can honestly say I would easily pay 50% more for these pants. They are that good.

          They have great range of motion. The gusset's not only make these pants look good - they add to the style.

          I don't plan any climbing anytime soon - these pants are great in and around town anytime.

            I fell in love with the design. They are all pluses. I am pretty active and need the extra room in the thighs without the baggy feel you get in the crotch area you get in some outdoor pants. The articulated knees make these pants feel very comfortable in various positions. Most of the wear in my outdoor pants are in the front of the thighs and in the butt. These pants have doubled the material in these areas. I wear these pants to work because they look and fit great, lounging around the house and of course, when I am tromping in the woods. My only desire is to have deeper pockets to carry stuff.
