I needed something easy to slide on and off for the summer, with a ventilated, open style - but with fallen arches, "flip-flops" are not the best for my long term comfort. So, I tried these as an alternative. Thankfully, I loved these sandals right out of the box. The Merrell sole molds to and supports my foot, and the straps are flexible and soft, yet stay in place nicely. The best part is the removable heel strap that allows these to be used as thong/slides. I think this is going to be the beginning of a beautiful friendship. :-)

This is a very comfortable sandal. It is great for warm weather. I was afraid (do to the thin straps) that it would not feel stable on my feet, but it feels very secure. I have have been wearing it for walking around urban areas and travel.

I have worn these sandals while traveling, walking our dogs, work, every where I get the chance. These shoes did not need to be broken in; they were ready to go. I have had these sandals for about 6 months, have worn them just about everyday (no joke) and they are starting to fray just a little, which is to be expected for the amount of miles I've put on them! HIGHLY recommend Merrell sandals - well worth the money if you have an active lifestyle - take care of those feet!

These shoes were great! I get to look at them everytime I go to work and I finally convinced myself to buy them. Not only are they cute, but they are comfortable and help me out in many situations.
Great for traveling.
The only problem I had (thus far) is some fraying on one of the toe straps. Contrary to what I thought, the braided strap doesn't break easily.

Purchased these sandals just before a vacation to NY and DC in the middle of the summer. They were exactly what I was looking for in a summer travel sandal: they stayed cool and breathable, yet were supportive enough to walk miles a day on pavement every day for two weeks straight comfortably and without foot fatigue. I already had a good impression of the Merrell brand, but these surpassed my high expectations in every way. As a bonus, they are cute and received lots of compliments. Even though the summer is wrapping up, I love them so much I might have to buy a second pair to save for next year!
