Comments about Big Agnes Lost Dog +50 Sleeping Bag - Regular:
Originally bought this for use as an overbag for my other bags, but I loved it so much by itself that it ended up replacing my beloved Kelty Lightyear 45 as my warm-weather bag. I'm a warm sleeper, so the Kelty's hood was always too much for me whereas the Lost Dog has an open top. I've been comfortable down to the upper 40s in it but had to put a hat on then. Hey, it's only rated to 50! Otherwise it's perfect for those Spring/Summer nights.
The semi-mummy/rectangular shape also has plenty of room for thrashing around in the middle of the night. As with all Big Agnes bags, you must use a pad (any brand of air, foam, or self-inflating, as long as it's the right shape/dimension), although it's quite comfortable on a sandy beach without a pad.
Although it packs down VERY small and is super light, the included stuff sack could be much smaller with the right compression. I usually cram mine in an outer pocket on my Gregory pack.
