Comments about Big Agnes Yampa +40 Sleeping Bag - Regular:
I use this bag with the matching Big Agnes Insulated air core pad. Works great down to 40 degrees or so. I like to leave the pad inserted in the sleeping bag and just roll the two up tightly, fold once and slide into the stuff sack supplied with the Yampa. This provides a compact 4 LB total weight sleeping system. When I am ready to use it I can just blow the pad up already inserted in the sleeve. This works slick, is very confortable and the pad stays put. Insert a down or prima loft sweater in the attached pillow pocket and it wont go any were as well. I chose the Yampa as it is a little roomier and I can use it as a over bag to add 25 degrees to my regular fall bag. It also zips apart, to use as a blanket for really warm weather, just use the uninsulated side as a sheet. If you want to shave a few more onces, get the B.A. Horse thief & matching mummy pad. Great set up.
