      Very lightweight, packable, slip over anything, totally waterproof. I have torn them in a few places when I do things that they weren't designed for (like rock climbing) - the material is pretty thin. There are also no pockets - I'd like at least one. [note - I do test stuff for Gore]

        I love these pants! They do everything advertised and more. They keep you bone dry in the wet. Plus, I have used them on cold, windy days to stay warm as they are very windproof. They breath well and are comfortable to wear hiking or just sitting around camp. I also like the leg zippers and had no problem putting them on without taking off my boots. Contrary to the other post, I didn't have a problem with the front fly not functioning (although I agree that the fly isn't the longest in the world--these aren't dress pants!).

        I am 6', 160 lbs and normally wear a 34" waist and 33" length. I tried the medium but felt it was too tight when I wore them over another pair of pants (as what happens when you are out on the trail and put your rain shell on over the clothes you are wearing). The large feels comfortable over another pair of pants and with the draw cord around the waist, they fit fine when worn by themselves.

        I love how light and packable they are and really like how comfortable they are.

        Highly recommended!

        Good pants to me so far especially for bicycling.
        Waterploofing seems perfect and packs really well.

        Only cons- LOW RISE!
        Oh, and just for your information,
        Non-separating front fly doesn't work!
        (I hope it's only for me...)

        But highly recommend particularly for minimalists.
