      I love shoes that don't look like everyone else's but that are also comfortable and fun to wear. I have been wearing my Keen Portolas almost every day since getting them last weekend. I normally don't wear shoes in the house but keep them on because they're so comfortable. MANY people have commented on them, asking what brand they are, where I got them, how much they like them...and so do I. They're like a sturdy and uncommon tennis shoe with a whole lot of style and ruggedness. Fit is easy and generous but not sloppy.

      Keens are the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned-and believe me, I buy lots of shoes! I wore these hiking in New Mexico and they got completely dust covered - but look none the worse for wear and my feet felt great!

      These are nice enough, although the heels are too stiff and can cause blisters if your socks are too thin. I bought the Keen Presidio shoe about 8 months after buying these though, and what a difference! I never wear this shoe anymore now that I have the much better version.

        I have 3 pairs of Keen portolas. They are more supportive and comfortable than any athletic shoe I have ever worn! I wear them on short hikes, walks, to the gym, and errands (every day). They are my all time favorite shoes! They fit my narrow heel and are very roomy in the toe box. I only wish they cost less.

        I have always been very picky about my footwear due to ankle problems. I bought these shoes while vacationing in Las Vegas. I wore them out of the store and walked 13 miles that day without a single irritation from the brand new shoes or any ankle pain -- I always have sore ankles after being on my feet for any length of time. I now live in Keen footwear. In summer, Venice sandals. The rest of the year is spent in my Portolas (which I have worn almost daily for about 18 months now so I). I just wish Keen sold replacement insoles for them.

          As a Massage Therapist I'm on my feet all day.
          This is a Great shoe for comfort & being on ur feet all day long. It's my winter work shoe.
          The one vice is that the stitching on the back heel rubs however with thick socks its seems to now not do this. (wore thin socks my first day of wearing these & got blisters. all i was doing was pretty much massaging all day)

          I bought these shoes after hearing rave reviews about Keen Shoes in general. I tried them on in the store and the fit very nicely, wider in the toe (I have narrow feet) but my foot didn't seem to move around in them. I got them home and after wearing them for about 10 minutes noticed the eyelet for the shoe strings on the left shoe was rubbing my foot wrong. Except for that, the insoles are great! and the shoe itself is one of those shoes you put on and feel like you've had them forever. I'm sure the eyelet thing is just a flaw, [...]if it just doesn't get better I can exchange them for a new pair or something else. Got a love that! I would highly recommend this shoe to others and you don't have to be an outdoors person to enjoy their comfort!
