Comments about CamelBak Hands-Free Bottle Adapter:
I've only been after Camelbak about this for two years....I am glad to see it finally make it into production. It allows me to use the Camelbak bottles and not have to bring them directly to my lips.
(Yeah I know you might say: "why not just wear a camelbak ?", but while doing paddle sports, having that on my back and the straps over my shoulders can be uncomfortable and unbalanced...the bottle with the hose is a better solution. I had built a couple of my own...but without a valve to let air in...it doesn't work well. THIS IS THE solution !)
The only thing that would make it better is if the connection to the bottle were a little more secure (i.e. screw in).
Overall I am very happy with what they have done.

Comments about CamelBak Hands-Free Bottle Adapter:
I do a lot of desert hiking, and I have a real problem with hydration packs: I can't really tell how my water supply is holding out. I have had a few occasions where I have consumed far more water than I thought I had used, and it had become a constant frustration on longer hikes.
I use this tube and several one-liter bottles on longer desert hikes, where I may be away from water for several hours at a time. The advantage is that I know whenever I go through a liter of water, so I always have a pretty good idea of where my water supply stands. It works much better for me than a hydration bladder, and I no longer find myself running short before I get to my next water stop.
