Comments about The North Face Beeline +30 Sleeping Bag - Regular:
This is a great bag. I had the synthetic version but was still a tad too cold. The down version solves this problem.
This bag is very warm for its weight. Sure, it doesnt have a zipper, but that's why it weighs under 21 ounces. You actually get used to not having a zipper and on warm days, it does have a foot zipper so you can air out, and if you get really got, you can slip it down a little bit.
Lightest production bag I could find that is still warm.

Comments about The North Face Beeline +30 Sleeping Bag - Regular:
The Beeline is a great down bag. I have used mine about a dozen nights so far. It has plenty of room to move around, yet still feels like a mummy bag. The foot box zipper is a nice addition to the bag and allows an added way to let your sweaty feet take a breather. Mine does have the 1/3 zipper down the side of the bag.
I'm a cold sleeper, so the temperature rating is perfect for a cool summer night for me. But I would say +30 is right on. The hood cinches up just fine, but you can always wear a hat as well.
My advice: buy a compression sack to use with it instead of the stuff sack it comes with. it will save you space.

Comments about The North Face Beeline +30 Sleeping Bag - Regular:
So this is my first down bag. Other bags I own, and use are an REI Zephyr 15, and a Snugpak Jungle Bag (this is a military bag, Snugpak makes great products, and is well known in its lane, just not in the commercial/civilian world as much.)
I love the Beeline. I've got the newer model with the 1/3 Zip, and the foot zip. I'm a stocky, wide dude, and have zero issues with the 1/3 zip. In fact, I love it, because I am a hot sleeper, and it lets me open the bag, but, I don't end up falling out of it like I with a full sized bag. The foot vent is awesome. Open it and get a cool breeze, or if you're really hot and have sweaty paws like I do, you can totally hang your feet out of the bag. Its ingenious. I had this out in 40 degree weather with an REI Minimalist Bivy in my open hammock, and was not cold. Anyone who does a lot of hammock camping will know its easy to freeze your rear end off, and I didn't. I'm sold on the beeline, totally sold on it.

Comments about The North Face Beeline +30 Sleeping Bag - Regular:
This sleeping bag is amazingly light and small. Its barely the size of a football in its stuff sack. Unfortunately there is no 1/3 length zipper like the product description says so you're forced to sort of worm your way into the bag and there is no room to sit up in it.Only pick this up if you can find it steeply discounted, I paid only [$] for mine.
