Comments about The North Face Rucky Chucky Trail-Running Shoes - Men's:
When it comes to picking shoes, I'm pretty picky. Kind of like my wife when she wants to buy curtains. I try on multiple shoes from multiple companies in order to find a good fit. In regards to trail shoes I've tried Montrail, Salomon, Asics, and Vasque in many different models. I have never had a shoe like the Rucky Chucky. I wear an 8 E-EE with a moderate amount of pronation support in my road running shoes, and have never really found a trail shoe that works. To start off with, the Chucky locks your foot into place with it's x-chassis system. Only on steep decents did my foot touch the toe of the shoe. It never heel lifts and the shoe "floats" over terrain. Not so soft that you feel every poke and prod, not so hard that you feel like your running in hiking boots. This shoe holds down any terrain. I've run in mucky, soupy, snowy trails as well as sandy, rocky, off-camber single-track and this shoe does it all and asks for more tomorrow. Do your self a favor and pick'em up. [...]
Service and delivery comments:
All I can say is, thank God for REI. What other retailer will let you take out gear to use and abuse. If you don't like it they let you bring it back for a full refund. It's a win/win situation.

Comments about The North Face Rucky Chucky Trail-Running Shoes - Men's:
I love this shoe, maybe the most comfortable running shoe I have ever owned. I wore them for a week of hiking and slot canyon exploring in Death Valley recently and they performed beautifuly. Very stable and comfortable, light weight as well. Beefy bottoms but saves weight by light uppers. Good looking shoe as well.

Comments about The North Face Rucky Chucky Trail-Running Shoes - Men's:
I hike and trail run the Phoenix Mountain preserve and these shoes are the best I have worn hiking period. They have great arch support, lightweight, great stability on the rocky, mountain terrain. The traction is great, you don't feel the abuse from the rocks on your feet.Even with the thick soles I can't believe how much they feel like a running shoe and not a boot.Do your feet a favor and buy these shoes.

I bought it at REI Atlanta.and use for cross country running.
As you know,it's made for mountain running/endurance running.Of course it's terrible when I use it for XC race,I have already plan to get a new race shoes. It's my fault.
But Rucky Chucky is still a legend.Perfect structure, very comfortable,Good staff!Always remember your purpose, than do choice correct.
