These shoes were great, but the snaps were too hard to unsnap. I wasn't surprised when the snap broke when I unsnapped it. Too bad because they were great when they worked.

I have had two pairs of these shoes. After about 1 week the snap for the ankle strap breaks. They are very cute shoes and very tempting...that is why I gave them a second try after the first pair broke. Teva got the shoe right but screwed up big time on the snap. The cashier even told me that others were bringing them back for the same reason. Dont waist your time on these shoes...there are equally nice shoes at REI.

I've seen many people say this show runs large. If you have a wider, but shorter foot, order down. But if you happen to have a longer narrower foot, order your usual size. I usually wear a 7.5 but tried a 7 because of all the comments. I found the 7 fit well, except my toe hit the end of the shoe. The 7.5 is roomy all over with enough length. It is kind of a flimsy shoe, so not for those needing a lot of foot support.

Pretty cute little shoe that is part flat, part sandal. I like it!

I was looking for something lightweight, waterproof, and comfortable for a holiday in Poland, and I found the Teva Westwater two days before my trip. They are cute, super comfortable (soft materials that don't cause blisters), and were perfect for wearing on trains and planes while traveling, in water and sand at the beach, on steep trails in the mountains, and on old cobblestone streets in the city! I love the rubber toe, too!

I have two complaints about this shoe: 1) they don't dry very quickly, especially if it's humid (I'd leave them to dry overnight, and they would still be wet/damp in the morning when I put them on again); 2) the snaps are difficult to use. I had to pull so hard to undo the snap that the whole thing broke off. However, I like the shoes so much I just paid to have them repaired.

These were my "camp shoes" during a 3-week backpacking trip. They worked well for that but I found it so difficult to snap and unsnap the straps that I'd often leave them strapped and just put the strap behind my heel, but then my foot didn't stay in the shoe. I returned these today because the snap finally broke when I tried to unsnap it. Otherwise, they were very cushy and supportive, and also very cute (I had the solid brown pair). If they re-design the snaps these would be great.

I loved these shoes and got seriously constant compliments. However, I went through three pairs in one summer!!! On each pair, one of the snaps would break after about a month of wear. I hated to do it, but after the third pair broke, I just returned them and asked for my money back. I'd love these shoes if only they were redesigned with a better closure.

Just bought these and they are the most comfortable, lightweight yet durable looking shoes I have purchased in a while. The minute I put these on I didn't want to take them off which can be unusual since it seems to be hit or miss finding comfortable shoes. Great outdoors or indoors. Light mesh with leather makes them so comfy yet sturdy.
I cannot find anything to list as a con. You won't regret purchasing them.

I wore these shoes (in the green/brown variation) all summer long last summer. They were incredibly versatile and useful in a wide variety of situations. As others have commented, these shoes always get a compliment (even by the TSA officers at the airport, who must see many, many shoes).
I did not have any problems with the shoe coming unsnapped, in fact, I typically did not unsnap the strap at all but just slid my foot in. Additionally, the shoes seemed to wear very well, with little show of external wear or tear after a summer of almost constant use. My only criticsm would be that the shoe liner seemed to be wearing out by the end of summer, in that it showed a few rub spots and a spot where the liner was beginning to tear under the ball of my foot. This was not totally unexpected due to the amount of wear they saw - I think it is probably also due to the nature of the liner (it's a soft liner, as opposed to harder plastic or leather you see in many shoes). All in all, I would (and probably will) buy these shoes in a different color for the coming summer.
