Comments about Mammut Rope Bag Pro:

I've been using this rope bag for more than a year, as many as several times a week. It has a good, simple design and has held up really well. It's a good bit bigger than many of the competitors' popular bags, which makes packing the rope into it easier and quicker. Good for those with long and thick ropes.

Comments about Mammut Rope Bag Pro:

This rope bag is huge. I own a 70m rope and it has more than plenty of room for it. Tarp is gigantic once unfolded leaving plenty of room for your rope once unpacked. If your wearing a backpack and carrying the rope bag it isint the greatest if your going on a longer uphill hike to the crag. The strap isint the greatest on the bag to prevent it from swinging around. The product is great, just be advisied if going on a long hike with it.

Comments about Mammut Rope Bag Pro:

This bag is literally a black hole! I can pack in two 60M ropes (which I wrap in the massive tarp included inside to keep them clean), my harness, my rack, chalk bag, extra chalk, shoes, tape, and I can still fit in more! The tarp & bag are super durable. You don't have to worry about ripping or tearing the bag while using it on rocky terrain. The tarp is ENORMOUS! I can lay out both ropes, flake them both still have space to stand on the tarp, put on my shoes, and lay my harness out as well. All around this is the best bag around! Love it and definitely recommend it to you all! Mammut has outdone themselves yet again!

Comments about Mammut Rope Bag Pro:

Mammut is known for making durable, high quality ropes. Their rope bags are apparently just as good. This bag is very durable, lightweight, and the should strap is comfortable for long hikes. The fold out tarp is VERY large. I climb a little along the beach, and it's nice to have something to sit on and lay out your gear on to keep the sand off. The best part about this bag is that it is spacious enough to double as a day bag. For me, it fits a 60m/9.5mm rope, harness, 12 quickdraws, numerous runners, extra carabiners, shoes, water bottle or two, and an extra shirt. I would highly recommend this rope bag.

Comments about Mammut Rope Bag Pro:

I got this this bag when I bought my first rope a year ago. I like the large tarp that it had for standing on when out to change your shoes and not get everything all muddy or dusty. Tarp easily rolls up and into the bag. The shoulder strap is ok but can get old after a long hike.

Comments about Mammut Rope Bag Pro:

A rope bag is a rope bag right? Well, this bag stands alone in one very important aspect, the tarp size. With it's HUGE tarp, one can easily sit down, put on the shoes, rack up and even stretch a little. Here's the reason to buy this bag, it's the only rope bag I've found where there is room for you AND your rope.

The ripstop nylon of course adds to the durability of the bag and after two seasons of cragging 2-3/week the bag still looks great with no holes or tears. Hands down the best cragging rope bag available at REI.

Comments about Mammut Rope Bag Pro:

This bag is great for those climbs that take half an hour of walking up a hill to get to them. It's lightweight, fits a rope easily and has an adjustable shoulder strap that's cushioned. Also the rope tarp that it sewn into the bag is large and has loops on the corners so it can be tacked down. It also covers the rope from dirt when everything is packed away.
