Don't use this often so every time feels like the first time and I can never remember which way the poles go. Attaching to your car is trial and error. Easy to take the paint off if you let it droop too much.

Once up, it works well. We put bungee cords at the bottom to extend the coverage area and give the structure more give in the wind.

The window/screen is nice and helps diffuse some of the wind.

Maybe because I don't use this often enough, I always seem to be struggling with the setup - which absolutely requires 2 people. I have a Toyota LC with the factory rack plus a pair of Yakima rail. Attaching the Kelty to the vehicle is a matter of trial and error. Too close and it won't flex well, too far away and it will take the paint off your car when it sags.

And I'm never sure if I've put the poles in the right direction. They are curved at one end and both ways seem right.

Once up, it is very versatile. We add some bungee cords to the lower legs which allows us to stake it out farther plus the bungees give the whole thing some flex in the wind.

The little window is nice as well.

Like all tents, the stakes they include are worthless so bring your own.

So while I struggle every time with the setup, once it's up, I like it.
