    The canyons above Azusa are rugged. My son has gone up the sides of hills and back down. Hiked and climbed over granite outcroppings and explored both dry and wet, creeks and river beds. My son(9 years old) says his boots are the best. It also gives me a peace of mind that he is safer on and off trail wearing them.

      My 9 year old son likes to wear them all the time. They worked well at 2 Harbors on Catalina Island. My son did not get tired or complain when we took a hike which is a first. I highly recommend.

        I have just purchased a second pair of these shoes for my son, who outgrew the first pair. We will need them for a trip to the Big Island this summer. Two years ago my then 7 year old hiked 9 miles across Volcanoes Nat'l Park in these shoes. No blisters. He has a little difficulty with the lace mechanism, but once they're on it is fine.

            These boots are so comfortable. My son hasn't taken them off. If he could sleep in them I think he would. lol. They keep his feet dry and are very sturdy. He has hiked in them Colorado, and New Hampshire and here at home in CT. I even brought a pair for myself and Love them too!!!!!!!!!!!
