Comments about SmartWool Microweight Boxer Briefs - Men's:
These were great on a week-long trip around Mt. Rainier. They would dry quickly and help keep the smell at bay. :-)
I would highly recommend these. I know they are a little pricey, but they are worth it. No itching at all! Go smartwool!

Comments about SmartWool Microweight Boxer Briefs - Men's:
These are not a bad pair of underwear, but for the price you should expect better. I have found wool to be superior to all other fabrics with regard to comfort and odor abatement. But like other products, these too wear thin and run way too quickly in the inner thigh region. I would love to see them use a heavier weight fabric here. Also, the thing that cheeses me off the most is the departure from the kangaroo pouch design for the fly. Common guys, the sideways opening is not ergonomic and can be painful! Bring back the kangaroo pouch!

I love these but they fall apart. In my experience, smartwool mid-weight is too heavy, microweight dissolves like a wet tissue, and lightweight is just about right.

great fit, best fly on ANY undergarment ever owned.a bit scratchy at first, softening as time goes by.very thin material, some pilling, causes me to worry about longevity. great odor and moisture control.cant believe I shelled out [$] for a pair of skivies. there has to be something out there comparable at a better price. cant recommend for the price.

By far the most comfy pair ever I have owned in 30 years on the planet. Do not hesitate to buy.

Comments about SmartWool Microweight Boxer Briefs - Men's:
Absolutely comfortable. And Absolutely Infuriating that they unravel so easily, especially at this price. They don't hold up for more than a few hand washings; and they don't hold up to machine washings. The material separates from the waistband easily. And, they easily get 'runs' that get bigger & bigger. I have tried two other brands of wool underpants, and those also come apart easily. Why?

Comments about SmartWool Microweight Boxer Briefs - Men's:
These are the best underwear out there...for a few months. These wear out way too fast. Maybe even 5x more quickly than cotton and some synthetics. They do an awesome job of drying quickly, not building up an odor, fits nice, etc. I agree with the comment on the fly. Change it back to the ole Kangaroo pouch style. Life for these can be extended by loading up on Sports Wash to wash these and other Smart Wool stuff. If money is no object than buy 10 pair. Otherwise, for the longevity and price, no recommendation.

I wear these or yoga under my shorts - they breathe, stretch, are ultra-light and never retain any odor. Wash them gentle and hand dry even though you can use low heat dryer - you'll want them around a long time.

Comments about SmartWool Microweight Boxer Briefs - Men's:
Don't just save these bad boys for hiking and backpacking trips…use these anytime you are going to work up a sweat. I used them last weekend for a marathon day of yard works and I was comfortable all day longs. I have also used them for day hikes (with a pack) and they worked out great and I did not have trouble with chaffing. I can't attest to the wear yet because they are relatively new…but I will be taking them on a weeklong trip to Zion this summer…so we will see.
