Comments about Columbia Sportswear Omni-Dry Mountain Tech T-Shirt - Men's:
I use this for sun protection when I don't feel like slathering the goop all over myself including where I can't reach behind me. It does what it says, stopping the UV and staying relatively comfortable and dry when things get sticky and wet. I use mine for yard work, swimming and any outdoor activities that get sweaty when I want sun protection. I have had two for two summers and they are going strong.

Comments about Columbia Sportswear Omni-Dry Mountain Tech T-Shirt - Men's:
I bought one of these shirts for an upcoming trip to Costa Rica. I've worn it to the gym and the around the house while testing it out, and it has passed with flying colors. It's lightweight yet sturdy feeling, made of an incredibly comfortable material that packs down easily.
It is form fitting and flattering without being skintight, and is an excellent length. My experiences thus far (some serious sweating at the gym), give me no reason to doubt the claims of it being quick-drying and moisture-wicking. I liked it so much I'm ordering another as we speak. Overall I am very impressed with this product and feel it will be great both for warm-weather travel as well as for hiking and working out back home. It is worth noting that I am about 5'10, 160lbs with an athletic build, and a small fits me well without being remotely too big. It is sized on the smaller side, though it is very stretchy and comfortable.

Purchased this T-shirt to have a travel t-shirt that would wash out and dry overnight. It does that and feels comfortable while being worn. Also has a look and feel of quality material.

Whats nice about the Columbia company is it is one of the few companies that does not reduce the length (to save fabric) as the width becomes more. This is on of the few shirts that is long enough that a XXL guy like me can tuck in to their pants/shorts and move about without coming back right back out. Great fabric too. I ordered 3 more.[...]

Comments about Columbia Sportswear Omni-Dry Mountain Tech T-Shirt - Men's:
My friend turned me on to these 2 years ago when i became a wilderness guide. These shirts are amazing, once you wear them you will never go back to cotton! They are extremely light weight and comfy, very breathable, and can be completely soaked to almost completely dry in 20 mins, faster if in the sun. I've had cheaper generic ones that are still nice but get snagged in the woods and fray. These however are very durable. They even have UV protection! I also wear them when i am working out. If you are going to be sweating a lot, you just can't find a better shirt! I'll post pics of these shirts in action!

Comments about Columbia Sportswear Omni-Dry Mountain Tech T-Shirt - Men's:
I needed some all around shirts. In all the trips to REI we never bought shirts or shorts. I wanted a shirt that I could use when mountain biking, going to the local fair or just hanging out. It had to be light weight and help wick away moisture.
So far this shirt answers the question. I went for a 20 mile bike ride and where I normally come home with a wet shirt this one was dry and I felt much cooler. I liked the shirt so much I returned some others and bought more of this shirt.

I bought a couple of these shirts for travel and they are great. I wore them on my adventure in SE Asia this past summer and they were lightweight, cool, and I could wash them in the hotel sink and they were dry by the next morning. They will be with me on every trip as they also pack light.

Comments about Columbia Sportswear Omni-Dry Mountain Tech T-Shirt - Men's:
I ordered this shirt in Flame and Night Train, and WOW! I loved them. So I ordered one in Olive.
It feels like it's missing about an inch of fabric. I actually checked the tag to make sure it was an XL like the other two.
Well, it turns out it wasn't just a fluke. When I ordered the rest of the other available colors, only the lighter blue color is comfortable. The rest are tight, like the Olive.
It's a shame really, because these are very nice shirts. I guess I'll have to try them in XXL and see if that's not too big!

Wear as sweat-wicking layer over Underarmor. Works as advertised. Couldn't be more satisfied with this shirt; will buy more soon.
