      When used with a lightweight bivy(I use an equinox 6.5 oz bivy) this tarp will meet your expectations and possibly exceed them. It is a little small in a side blowing rain where I prefer my siltarp2 but worked perfectly in a light rain. It also sets up well and maintains its shape in the wind. It is lightweight and packs down a little bigger than a can of soda. I have also used it as a rain fly for my hammock and it was great. It has become a part of my bailout bag in my kayak.

      Your not going to find a shelter as light as the E-wing for the price. just don't forget to seal the center seam. I woke up very wet after a heavy down pour. I haven't had any problems with it since sealing the seams.

      This was a great shelter for the price.... As one other review said water is an issue, when I first got it I took it out of the package and set it up in my front yard using hiking poles, the design was great but when I used it during my solo on a portion of the Colorado Trail I found that in a heavy wind the shelter was a little flimsy. The Shelter is made out of a very thin material. If it is waterproof I would be surprised.

      One other problem that I have with it is getting it to stay in the small stuff sack that was provided with the shelter itslef. Every time I seem to rip the sack that much more when I manage to cram it into the sack. Getting a bigger stuff sack definetly pays off.

      Over all this is a great product and both ways provided to set it up work very well.. I would definetly recomend this to a friend.
