Great coat overall. I am petite (5'-2") with a larger bust so I had to order a medium so the arms are a bit long on me. Really light weight and durable. The cut of the coat is more of a fitted fit, very flattering and doesn't look bulky, also longer in length so it doesn't cut at the waist. The shell I had before was a North Face and after a year I had to return it b/c I was getting soaked, so far this coat has been a dream. No problems so far. Would need a few layers under the shell in cold weather.

I purchased this jacket for a 10 day Alaska adventure, and it was perfect for the trip. We had a lot of rain, but I kept dry in my Marmot. It fit well, and accommodated layering. Every part of this jacket snaps, tucks, and tightens to keep you nice and dry. The underarm zippers provide good breathability. It also is very lightweight and rolls up small, which is convenient for carrying in a backpack. I received many compliments during the trip, and several folks said they were going to REI to buy one when they returned from the trip!

I wear this jacket ALL the time. I'm 5'7 135 pounds, fairly long arms, short torso, small bust, and the small fits me absolutely perfectly. I wear it to school, snowboarding, running in the snow, hiking, riding my bike... excellent! I usually don't buy things full price, but this was an impulse buy for me. I fell in love with it immediately.

The Best "Modern" Adult rain jacket avalible. Its GORTEX our US Military uses the GORTEX product because its outstanding! Rain resistant!I tried the Northface rain jackets, although Marmot takes the cake when it comes to style and quality! the red one (cardinal Color) was made for this jacket very figure flattering! also the black and pretty blue is avalible. I love my purchase!

I highly recommend this jacket. Purchased the red and the color is vibrant and stands out. I am 5"6 and 135lbs and purchased the medium and its a great fit. I also tried the small in the store but it was a bit snug around the hips. With the medium I can also wear a fleece etc underneath if needed. I am thinking about getting another color as well as I live in these jackets all winter.

Love it! This rain jacket is GORTEX! It what e US Military uses because its the BEST in rain proof material. The Red "cardinal" is absolutly flattering with this style and cut of jacket. The black and pretty blue is nice as well.I Love my minamalist MARMOT rain jacket! try on the quality for yourself...Oh and it dosent weigh much, super light which makes it super comfortable!!!

At 5'2" and 135# I wear size 6-8 shirts but sized up to a medium and it felt like a straight jacket. Way too tight in chest and waist I barely got it zipped. Sleeves too long, but adjustable. The hood came up to over my nose and was so stiff and visor so long I feared it would get in the way of my binoculars. The visor was so stiff it could not be folded back. Instead I chose a jacket that has the option of stowing the hood in the collar so I could wear my rain hat instead. I got very warm in the five minutes I wore it.

I've had this jacket for over a year now, so I figured it was time to attest to it's greatness! I wore it in rainy summer Alaska for a month after I first purchased it, and it was perfect. Kept me nice and dry, and doubled as a great wind layer for colder hiking days, especially with the pit-zips to keep you from over-heating. Even now (without any additional waterproofing treatments) I wear it out in complete downpours back in the city and still keeps all the water out. And it has a very stylish/feminine cut! I would recommend this jacket to anyone.
