        This fits perfect on top of my mini cooper. I did not want to drill holes in my roof, so I opted for a Thule rack and box. Took minutes to install. The box opens on both sides and has plenty of internal straps. the inside hinges and bottom locking mechanisms seems fragile since they are made mostly of plastic to keep the weight down. I just made a 1,400 mile move using it, and continue to use it for my camping gear and it has held up to plenty of my beatings. Bigger than it looks and can handle twice (at least) the weight it advertises. (I moved using it!) Rack and box lock and come with multiple keys.

        Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
