REI Members get back an estimated $ 4.00 on this item as part of their annual member refund.

    The REI Member Dividend

The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.

Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.

Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about Pepper's Adrenaline Polarized Sunglasses:

I love these glasses. They are so light yet still provide good protection. I wear them all the time, the only thing I can complain about is that if you put them on your head its easy to lose them because they are so light especially if you are wearing a hat.

Comments about Pepper's Adrenaline Polarized Sunglasses:

I picked these puppies up from REI about a year ago after a long sunglasses drought, and they made a huge difference. I'm generally a skeptic, so it's got to be pretty great to stay on my face for any period of time, and these ones lasted. (Unfortunately, I have a hard time keeping sunglasses, erm, "safe" for any period of time, and these stayed safe about a year before I accidentally mowed over them.)

At any rate, I can testify to their adaptability to many uses, as they were great for driving, hiking, lawn care, and just about anything else I could think of to use them for.

I liked that they were not too tinted to make it hard to see in lower light (like under trees or when a cloud blocked the sun), but the polarization still cut the glare out when it was really bright.

All in all a great pair of shades for the price.

They are sunglasses, they do keep the sun out of the eyes and don't seem to distort colors very much. they fit very comfortably.

Comments about Pepper's Adrenaline Polarized Sunglasses:

love these glasses...great for sports! they are so lightweight and they do not fog up even when you are sweating buckets. sadly, one of the lenses popped out and sunk in a lake last summer so now i have to buy a replacement pair. but the price is right so i don't have too much heartburn about it.

Comments about Pepper's Adrenaline Polarized Sunglasses:

The glasses are very light, and do fall off my head when up, but have almost no scratches. I bought these in desperation after having a $300 pair of sunglasses never quite work well and fall to pieces in the hot climate of tropical Pacific Mexico (where rubber does decompose). Shortly after returning to Mexico, the Peppers fell off and were run over by a bus; I picked them up, and the lenses had merely bent. No scratches, the frame was intact, and they actually fit a little better afterwards!

Please do get a hard case for them, to prevent scratches from stuff in your pockets or bag. Mine have lasted one year of near-daily use (and once under a bus) with only one noticeable scratched area.

They have a smooth, close profile (but not too close - no annoying eyelash touching) and fit very comfortably under my full-face motorcycle helmet, which is hard to find, let me tell you. I cannot believe my good fortune, and will continue to buy this model whenever I need another pair for the forseeable future. The combination of price, fit, and durability have impressed me greatly, and I do recommend them to friends.
