    This is probably my favorite leash and would certainly be if it were six feet long. Still, I love it as it is now:
    The carabiner is large and easy to attach to a collar or harness. The locking feature is reassuring, but I've never had the carabiner open by itself when it is not locked. The handle is perfectly sized for holding and feels good to the touch. The rope is also soft and doesn't burn the hands if the dog pulls. I love that Ruff Wear added reflective trim to the rope and it does reflect headlights well.

    I hope that at some point in the future, Ruff Wear will offer an option in longer length as they have done so for both shorter length and leash diameter. It would only perfect a wonderful leash.

      I'm really happy that RuffWear finally changed the carabiner to a locking type- we had the old model of these leashes and finally had to return them because the carabiners would unclip and our dogs would get loose on walks. As soon as I saw that the carabiner was locking on the new version of these leashes, I bought them again. Why? The handle on this leash is the most comfortable handle of any leash I've used, and the rope is so durable and strong I know it will last forever. I also appreciate the new reflective trim.

        The other reviewer had good comments, though the length is fine for me. The best thing is the carabiner attachment. It isn't necessary to find the little ring on the collar - just attach the leash around the whole collar anywhere. Seems like a small thing, but a big bonus with a hairy dog.

        Excellent leash. This leash could stand to be a little bit longer, but it serves its purpose well. The snapping/locking biner and the extra large loop at the end are its strong points. I have had vet's comment on how the like the strength of it, and the fact they know it's attached with the locking biner. I have used it for casual walks, runs, and backpacking. I recommend it for all of those uses.
