Comments about Black Diamond Moxie LED Headlamp:
I'm impressed with how darn bright this is and how comfortable it is to wear. The adjustable beam works much better than expected. It's also really stable walking around. Haven't tried it on my bike yet. The problem I have with it is the case design. Getting the battery cover off is really hard. Plan to break a nail every time you have to change the batteries. Getting the cover back on is easier, but it's easy to catch the flexible hinges in the cover when you close it, too. The multi-position switch is a massive pain. I actually returned my first Moxie thinking it was broken. On and off is easy. However, getting the switch partway depressed to go into the "special" modes takes a careful touch and quite a bit of getting used to. Screwing with a temperamental device on a trail in the dark is not my idea of fun. They really need to rework the case on this.

Comments about Black Diamond Moxie LED Headlamp:
I purchased this for my wife to use and I find myself using hers more often than I use the 3 other headlights I own. It's easy to switch between spotlight and flood and the on/off button is large and easy to feel. Adjusting the angle of the light is easy and it stays put. The headband is easily removed should it need any cleaning. The case can be difficult to open but you don't have to open it often so it's not a big problem. It operates on 3 AAA batteries so that's where most of the weight comes from. I've used this while cooking in the Boundary Waters, exploring Mammoth Cave, and working under the hood of my car.

Comments about Black Diamond Moxie LED Headlamp:
I bought this headlamp mainly for night hiking. I have been very pleased with it so far. It provides a great light to hike by at night..I have yet to lose my footing. I found the batteries very easy to put in. The beam is also very adjustable so you can aim the beam directly at the ground which allows you to avoid blinding your fellow hikers. I also like the colors and the headband design which are geared toward women. I bought this in the store and sales person warned me not to put this under water but that it was fine for rain. I have not hiked in the rain with this product yet.
I would definantly recommend this product to any one. After using this one, I bought my husband the male version (the Cosmo.)

Comments about Black Diamond Moxie LED Headlamp:
Out of all the headlamps I looked at this one fix for price and size/weight. I am very pleased with this little lamp. I gave it 4 stars because this is my first and only headlamp.
