The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about NUUN Active Hydration Tablets - 12 serving:
I have used all of the other non-carb hydration products out there, and I have to say, NUUN is the best. It mikes really easy, there's no powders or measuring scoops to deal with, and it is really easy to carry around. I find that it is best in a long race, because it wards off the cramps better than water, and goes down easier that gooey drinks like accelerade or clif shot.
I've tried camelback elixir, and I like nuun better, because it doesn't have the plasticy after taste of diet cola that elixir has. Also, it comes in 4 flavors.
A+ for this one!

Comments about NUUN Active Hydration Tablets - 12 serving:
I use the nuun tabs for all activities that hydration is important. Usually the Citrus Fruit flavor is what i get. tastes pretty good and is lightly carbonated. I find that i am reaching for the water more often when it tastes good than i would if it were just water. So i do find that i stay more adequately hydrated when using this product simply because i'm drinking more. my advice is to do your best to keep the water as cold as possible, it tastes much better when cold and you'll want to continue to drink. I drop them in my platypus bladder - and amazingly, these tabs leave no residue or lingering taste in the bladder or hose.

This product is great on the trail. Definitely better than the powders. It is very easy to use and you can definitely feel the difference in the way your body feels during a long day of backpacking when you add this to your water.

Comments about NUUN Active Hydration Tablets - 12 serving:
I run marathons and although I'm usually pretty good about rehydrating/refueling after my long runs (12-20 milers), I would still be crampy or sore the day after.
I started using NUUN after my long runs and completely 86'd the cramping and muscle soreness that normally was associated with the day-after distance hangovers.
Seriously... it made the post-run cramping disappear! A must-have for my marathon training.

Comments about NUUN Active Hydration Tablets - 12 serving:
These little things are so easy to use. No measuring, no shaking, nothing…just add them to a bottle. I was really curious about these little tubes on the shelf and had to give them a try, I am so glad I did. I use them almost daily to help me drink more water and to rehydrate after a hard workout. They are not really sweet which is a huge plus in my book. Just like the ad says, they are easy to throw in a backpack or even a pocket and you don’t have to worry about powder spilling or making a mess. If you are really bored you can drop it in your water and watch it fizz up…yeah I know I’m easily amused. If you are looking for a way to get some electrolytes into your water, you need to try these. It is a good break from the sweet drinks you have to shake up.

Comments about NUUN Active Hydration Tablets - 12 serving:
I discovered Nuun as an alternative electrolyte hydration option to Gatorade about 5 years ago while shopping before my annual backpacking loop in the High Sierras. Less weight to carry, no carbs, easy to prepare, and more sodium and potassium. I am now hooked. I dropped coffee, then tea, for Nuun as a morning beverage for everyday use.
My daily recipe is a 12 oz can of lemom or lime flavored sparkling water, a splash of lemon juice, 3-4 oz of pomegranete/blueberry juice, 1 tab Nuun and 4 cubes of ice in a 20+ oz nalgene OTB bottle. Of course on hiking trips, it's just 2 tabs in a 32 oz bottle.
Ever wake up with a hangover? Try my morning recipe for help...go for the Tri-Berry, my favorite

Comments about NUUN Active Hydration Tablets - 12 serving:
I am an ultrarunner. I am currently training for my third 100 mile race, the Wasatch 100. It is difficult to keep balanced electrolyte intake during very long runs. This is the perfect solution. Every time you add water to you hydration pack or refill a water bottle, just throw in the correct number of tablets and you are covered. I now use them in every training run and, of course, in all races.
There is one negative. Running here in the south the summer is very hot. I carry 3 liters of water on long runs, but the water gets hot before I drink it all. Nuun water tastes fine when cool but it gets pretty hard to drink when it reaches 90+ deg.

I added this to my water bladder and to off on a 8 mile 3000+ foot hike and did not come back all droopy and wilted.
The flavor I chose for the trip was Tri-berry. The taste was pleasant. It was also easy to add to my bladder. Just drop in the tablets and shake it up. By the time your ready for water on the trail, the nuun is all stirred up and ready to go for you.

What more can I say "Better Than Gatorade".
Cheaper by volume and without all that all the extras. I like the purple one... I think its Berry

I'm so glad REI finally started carrying these drink tabs--I initially bought straight from the company after reading about them in an issue of [...]. They all taste good, mix easily, travel very well in their tube, and do what they advertise--hydrate and replace electrolytes w/nearly no carbs.
