I bought this for a 3 month trip to Ireland...yes, one of the rainiest countries ever. It was one of the best jackets I've ever owned and wore it nearly everyday due to the always misty/rainy weather. Kept me totally dry and oftentimes quite warm.
It sometimes can feel like a mini-sauna if you wear it too long in all-day wet weather while hiking outdoors since it doesn't wick away sweat. However, I didn't mind this since it kept me totally dry from the elements :)

The jacket is fantastic! I used it on a entire day hike up in Acadia in the absolutely pouring rain. I was the driest of the group!
The only thing lacking is a bungee cord or something similar to tighten the hood. Other than that--buy this jacket!

Great rain jacket for travel- it is very lightweight and packable. The colors are great also- I got the sherbet/flame (bright orange). In warmer weather this jacket does get a bit warm since it doesn't breathe very well; however, the armpit zips help quite a bit. The sizing is perfect, just enough room to wear over a light sweater or very light fleece and allows for a wide range of movement. Overall a fantastic purchase!
