      These ice screws are super fast to insert and extract. The small handle that flips out makes this possible. However, when wearing thick, bulky gloves, the handle may seem a bit small. Regardless, BD really perfected ice screws with this one.

        I have found BD ice screws to be very easy and fast to place. They stay sharp. In fact there the most used ice screw I've seen used, there the standard. There expensive, but worth it, when your hanging out.
