    I climb at an indoor gym a lot in the winter time. They recomend that people use chalk socks because the socks keep the chalk from ending up everywhere...like the floor.
    I got this one because it's refillable, I don't have to buy a new sock every time I run out of chalk.
    The only thing I'd watch out for is where you refill it because the opening is somewhat small so chalk can get all over you, and your surroundings if you're not careful. Plus when you first buy it, it is so full that it's difficult to squeeze hard enough to get the perfect amount of chalk.

    Other than that...it keeps the gym clean, keeps my chalk in my bag, saves money, and since I refill it, I can determine how much chalk I want in my sock. I probably won't ever stop using this product.

      A wonderful tool in anyone's climbing arsenal!

      I personally am not a fan of loose chalk, so I LOVE having a chalk sock, and this guy is so much better than the nonrefillable options out there.

      You can fill it up as much as you want (if you want smaller to roll on your hands, or larger to squeeze, as I do), and refilling it doesn't have to be a mess. Some dust in the air when filling, but c'mon: it's chalk!

      It definitely is more gym-friendly than loose chalk, and I use it for outdoor climbing because NO SPILLING!

      Bottom line: It does what it's supposed to do, and it does it well. It's a sock of chalk. Nothing to debate over buying or not.

      Works as advertised. Used to think it was hard to refill completely until I learned to use a spoon to scoop lots of dust in there first, then jam in a big chunk or two to stretch it out to maximum capacity.
