    The REI Member Dividend

        Best Uses

          Comments about Silverfoot Standard Lanyard:

          The material used is supple and comfortable against the skin. Lightweight, but with good width to distrubute weight well. The spring clip is a bit cheap looking, but works well. Items can be clipped and unclipped easily. The more expensive version of this lanyard has an extra buckle for detaching the spring clip. I don't see any advantage in that since the spring clip serves the same purpose (releasing the carried item).

          I prefer for my neck lanyards to have a safety release, but the stitching that holds the two ends together looks like it would break free at some reasonable level of force (or could be made to).

          Overall, a very functional lanyard with no unnecessary complications at a good price.
