Not compatible with all iPods
Yes , I recommend this product
As far as I can tell, this cable only provides 12v of power to the iPod connector. This works fine on older iPods, but it should be noted that newer iPods (released since mid-2008 like the iPod Touch 2nd Gen, iPod Nano 4th Gen, and iPhone 3G & 3GS) require 5v to charge like they would get from a USB cable, and will not work with this product without some sort of adapter to change the voltage. The product description should be updated to indicate which iPods this cable is compatible with.
