The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about Jetboil Pot Support and Stabilizer:
Depending on where you are, this is a good product for normal use. I didn't have the fit issues that some other reviews discussed, and all-in-all, I have no complaints about the product. The fuel can stand works well on 100g and larger cans, and it's key to remember that any stove this top-heavy is going to be hard to balance without some creativity. The pot support worked well for me also, but I agree that you have to be careful when removing the larger pots so as not to get the Flux-ring stuck. Everything stores in the Jetboil cup as advertised, no issues there.

Comments about Jetboil Pot Support and Stabilizer:
The plastic base is quite effective in stabilizing the Jetboil system.
The metal pot support however is entirely another story. It does not attach to the burner solidly. The support simply slides over the edge of the burner ring. Whenever you lift the pot off the burner the flux ring tends to catch in the fold out supports and pulls the entire pot support off the burner. In my experience the support usually lands on top of the flaming burner and immediately gets red hot. If you do not have a pot holder or other item available you must knock the assembly off the burner and wait for it to cool down so you can replace it hoping not to burn yourself in the process. You must also turn off the stove to reattach the support to the burner. All of this while juggling your pot full of hot food.
Overall this is a very poor design. Simply adding a solid attachment clip and putting a 90 degree bend in the ends of the four supports would make this a much more functional accessory. Without this support the Jetboil pot is not usable with the complete system.

Comments about Jetboil Pot Support and Stabilizer:
The Jetboil system is rather tall, so the can support is a real help to stabilize it and keep it from tipping over. Use the can support even in Personal Cooking (PCS) mode. The flux ring support is necessary to use the Group Cooking (GCS) pot and the frypan. The pot supports fold out and fit between the heat fins on the flux ring of both the pot and pan. However, the fins tend to catch on the pot supports and since it just sets on top of the stove ring, the support tends to lift off while cooking. The system works well but takes some practice. Both pieces will store inside the PCS boiler for transport.

Comments about Jetboil Pot Support and Stabilizer:
Got this for the Jet Boil Java kit. Both pieces fit into the mug so, you don't loose parts to carry. The base really does work well and the adpter work great with the skillet, although if the skillet is empty it won't stay on because of the weight of the handle. I don't know if the pot has the same issue.

Comments about Jetboil Pot Support and Stabilizer:
I got this to go with the JetBoil system with the idea that it all fits in the cup.
The base is great. A little difficult to get off the fuel can but makes a stable stove.
The pot stand kind of works. It is difficult to pack in the cup and get out. You have to reach in and pull it out. The stand also is easily bent and broken if not handled with kid gloves. I question in the whole thing is worth it just because of the pot stand.

Comments about Jetboil Pot Support and Stabilizer:
All in all this is a great little pair for your whole jet boil system. Very lightweight and easy to use. However the leg base and the metal base have no true traction to give for any type of surface for the possibility for tiping and sliding. If you have flat grounds your in the clear though!

Comments about Jetboil Pot Support and Stabilizer:
I bought my JetBoil @2005, and purchased this item at the same time. The plastic support for the gas has worked perfectly with the SnoPeak, JetBoil, and Brunton gas containers, both large and small, that I have used. I use this support every time without fail. The stability it offers makes it too convenient to leave off. I have no complaints.
What I have used less often, is the metal pan support. For myself, I've used this with a military mess kit, both the pot, and the skillet. When using the skillet, I am attentive to the balance of it, and if necessary, will remove the handle while cooking. Likewise, I have no complaints about this item. I do not use the JetBoil pot or pan, and cannot comment on the complaints of others. But using anything without a flux ring...such as my mess kit, I would see no problems.

Comments about Jetboil Pot Support and Stabilizer:
I bought this along with the PCS stove, utensils, and fry pan recently. The printed directions that came with it were unclear and it took me several minutes of staring at pictures and the product to get how it worked. Once over that hurdle it was game on. Unlike some prior reviews, I didn't have any stability issues. It locked securely into place on the detents that hold the cup.
I toyed with cooking several things in the pan and found no stability issues (I was using a 250g gas canister on a hard, level surface).
Weight is a non-issue and it fits just fine between the fuel can and stove when stowed in the cup.
If using a 100g fuel can, I strongly reccomend using cannister support legs or supporting the stove somehow. As light as the pan is, I can still see it getting unbalanced fairly easily.

Comments about Jetboil Pot Support and Stabilizer:
Love the JetBoil system, but this accessory is a bit of an Achilles heal. I agree with other reviews that the pot support does not seat well and tends to catch on the pot rings. It also has a tendancy to become slightly bent, which means that it won't nest into the JetBoil unit for storage. Needs some redesign!

Comments about Jetboil Pot Support and Stabilizer:
There are really two products here. There is the three legged support that goes under the fuel tank. This is easy to use and deserves 4 or 5 stars. Then there is the metal ring that allows you to place a pan on top of your JetBoil. This is very hard to get installed and deserves 1 or 2 stars. However, it is your only choice if you want to use the Jetboil Fluxring Fry Pan.
