These bike tights with a gel pad chamois add a layer of comfort between you and the saddle.

  • Gel pad chamois dissipates shock by forming a fluid barrier between the saddle and the rider's anatomy, reducing nerve stress and skin irritation
  • Form-fitting polyester/Lycra® spandex fabric moves with you, wicks away moisture and supports your leg muscles to let you focus on enjoying the ride
  • Six-panel construction offers a precise fit
  • Elastic waistband with drawcord allows an adjustable fit without binding
  • Achilles zippers ease on/off over bike shoes; reflective detail on zippers increases visibility
  • Soft-touch ankle grippers on the inside of the hems help keep the tights from sliding up

ordered a size too big, but they turned out to fit just right. Perfect for fall commutes - 39 degrees in the morning and 60 degrees on the way home.

Comments about Canari Gel Bike Tights - Men's - '06 Closeout:

First pair I ordered I did not even try on seeing 1" long stitch separation on right leg. I returned and re-ordered another one (good price). Well, I put it on and my first impression was I needed to "change the diaper" asap. I went for a ride after all and another disappointment, not much support between saddle and my anatomy, pad placement seems to be off, too much padding in front and not enough padding in the rear. I can only ask Pearl Izumi for forgiveness that I tried to save few $ ordering different brand.

These tights are all that I expected from REI and more. Fit is good, construction is good and the padding seems to be just right in all the right places.

    Service and delivery comments:

REI shipping - can't beat it. I'm at their store at least 3-4 times a month so it just makes sense to get the free shipping to their store.

Comments about Canari Gel Bike Tights - Men's - '06 Closeout:

Quality materials and a good fit overall. Great for a cool weather ride but probably too light for a really cold one. Maybe a little short for me but taller socks filled the gap so no big deal.

Comments about Canari Gel Bike Tights - Men's - '06 Closeout:

I bought these for Fall bike commuting and they are just what I needed. They are warm enough for morning, but not too warm as to be uncomfortable on the ride home.
The fit is excellent, and the zippers at the cuffs are a handy feature.
The gel padding is EXCELLENT, and about as comfortable as the chamois in my much more expensive Descente shorts. If Canari makes these in a shorts version, I will checking those out too!
