Comments about NiteRider TriNewt LED with Wireless Remote Bike Light:
I do alot of both night (early morning, 3+ hours) commuting as well as night trail rides. I replaced a Moonshine HID light with this one for the extended battery life and have been very pleased with both the brightness and battery. The light lasts easily past the 3+ hours I need for my morning commute with the light on high. I highly recommend this light.

Comments about NiteRider TriNewt LED with Wireless Remote Bike Light:
So far, I've cycled through Fall, Winter and Spring with this light -- about 2500 miles. I've been on several thirty-mile night rides in below-zero temperatures; I've spent hours in the pre-dawn rain; I regularly commute over a section of old bumpy rail road track. None of these conditions has affected the head unit, mount or battery. The brightness and beam spread of this light are adequate for the riding that I do. The reliability of this light has been perfect -- literally, my life depends upon it working. I have not used the remote control very much, so I cannot comment on that. I recharge the battery pack after every use, and I have not noticed any degradation of brightness or burn time. I mount the battery underneath the top tube of my frame; the head unit is mounted to the bar, next to the stem. This set up has worked well for me. The only niggling complaint that I can think of is this: the included velcro strap for the battery unit is designed in a way that it is too big for the narrow top tube of my steel frame. But this was easily overcome with a short length of closed-cell foam from the plumbing aisle of a hardware store.
