Comments about STABILicers Sport Traction Devices - Unisex:
These are the best Ice traction soles I have found short of Mountaineering Crampons. They have worked very well during the Ice thaw/freeze cycle that we get late in the season in Anchorage. In even the most slippery, water-on-glare-ice, conditions I have been able to move normally without any issues. Due note that the "sport" in the title does refer to the type of footwear, so athletic shoes fit the sizing. If you are buying for larger Pack boots would go a size up in these. Also note that these have no place being worn indoors, they will tear apart most flooring. If you need something to keep your traction on Ice, these are the real deal

Comments about STABILicers Sport Traction Devices - Unisex:
Winter hiking trails here can include packed snow, ice, rock, mud, gravel, and dirt--all on the same day. My Stabilicers Sport work great on all of them, including the rock. They provide traction for me even on ice that my walking poles slip right off of. I love not having to pick my way gingerly around and down the icy patches anymore. And it's easy not to be one of those people making the trails wider by walking off the packed, icy path. The toe parts of the devices don't fit all the way onto the toes of my light hikers, but that doesn't seem to matter. I've wondered if the cleats wouldn't press on points on the bottom of my feet uncomfortably on a longer hike, but they've been entirely comfortable on shorter hikes (and my shoes are getting on the worn side, so maybe the Stabilicers would feel different on new, firmer soles). I've found the devices easy to put on and take off (and I read somewhere that it is important not to wear them indoors--someone punched a hole in some linoleum or something). I'd recommend these in a heartbeat.

Comments about STABILicers Sport Traction Devices - Unisex:
I tossed out the rusted Yaktrax and am sticking to my STABILicer Sports - which I use primarily for running. Work so well and are so durable and comfy I purchased the STABILicer Lites for general use. Can't go wrong with the 32north line - I have been very satisfied with their products and quality. Yes, and I even became a fan! [@]
