Bought these to take out camping/rock climbing, and the temperature went up to 97 one day. Socks weren't too hot. Ended up going trail running in them, excellent cushioning and moisture absorption. Brought them with me to MA, and they were warm in below freezing weather. Not to mention, no smell after 48 hours of wear, including after trail running.

As a Wildland Firefighter, I have to walk into places most people will not go. My feet are in extreme conditions from wet boots one minute, then working in hot ash the next. These socks are great. No blisters and my feet recover a lot more quickly.

I really like these socks, they're easy to care for and absolutely wonderful on the trail. Despite cold weather my feet stayed warm without feeling like they were soaked in perspiration.
Very comfy socks too. I may buy a couple more just to wear around the house.
