The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about REI Merino Wool Light Hiker II Socks - Women's:
I love these socks. I am always cold, so my two pairs really get a workout during the winter. I wear them out and about as often as I can. They are a bit too bulky to fit in my athletic shoes, but that's to be expected. Also, they hold up for several wears between washings.
I'm buying more this winter.

Comments about REI Merino Wool Light Hiker II Socks - Women's:
I find these too bulky around the toes and arch for me to wear them athletic shoes/hiking boots. Although they're "light" there is still a lot of padding and cushion in them, which just doesn't work out for my wide, high-arch, high-volume feet.
I do wear them around the house when it's cold out and I love them for that. They're very soft and cozy, even after washing.

Comments about REI Merino Wool Light Hiker II Socks - Women's:
I love love love these socks. I was gifted a pair from a friend in my earlier years in college, and I haven't looked back since. These socks are warm, comfy, and they don't bunch up like some of my other heavy socks do. My feet tend to get very cold in the winter even in boots, and these socks help a lot.

I love these socks. I wear them hiking and I also wear them around the house to keep my feet warm.
They are so comfortable and make my feet feel like there are on pillows!

Comments about REI Merino Wool Light Hiker II Socks - Women's:
I bought these to wear in my house during winter. They are very cushy, but stretch out after 2 days of wear (I wear them inside my slippers, or as a slipper-alternative). They do start to pill after one wash, but the shape comes back, and the cushy-ness stays too. They are a bit bulky for athletic shoes, but work great in snowboots. I got the maroon ones, and they are true maroon, not as pink as in the picture online.

Comments about REI Merino Wool Light Hiker II Socks - Women's:
I own one pair currently and will be purchasing another. I am also going to try the thicker hiker because my feet still get cold sometimes. I have worn these on an easy snowshoe trip and they were great. I also have a couple of pairs of smartwool hikers and I really like the fit of the REI socks better. I feel that the Smartwools have extra material at the toe which bunches and the REI socks fit better in the toe but also the arch. Plus the REI socks are less expensive.

Comments about REI Merino Wool Light Hiker II Socks - Women's:
I have always purchased Smart Wool socks, but recently purchased the REI socks instead to try out. The REI socks are much softer and I even think warmer. I wear these socks everyday to work to keep my feet warm.

I had these socks for 2 weeks and it already has a hole in them. Also, I noticed that they are wearing out where my hiking boots hit them.
