The lean and strong Metolius Monster daisy chain can be used for ascension rigs, leading aid pitches and sorting out complicated belays.

  • Made with Monster webbing, a blend of 36% Dyneema and 64% nylon for superb strength-to-weight ration and abrasion-, UV- and moisture-resistance
  • Thin 13mm width daisy chain weighs a scant 2.5 oz. and features a reinforced clip-in loop and an 8-in. loop for girth hitching to climbing harness
  • Long 55-in. chain is triple bar-tacked between pockets; 3-in. pockets are designed for body weight only!
  • Ideal for alpine climbing because it absorbs very little water
  • Different loops allow climber to clip in at varying lengths from protection
  • Daisy chains are intended for body weight applications only

    Comments about Metolius Monster Daisy Chain:

    This Daisy Chain is strong, in almost every aspect. I have used it as a top rope anchor, from end to end of course, and it worked perfect. I have used it on multi pitch climbs, great for anchoring in, and amazing for organization of gear. When not climbing with it, I use it on my backpack as an additional attachment for more gear/accessories for camping/climbing. Worth the money, and have had it for quite a while now. Just be sure when you use it as an anchor or in a multi pitch climb that you attach your anchor points from one end of daisy chain to the other end. The pockets should not be used as anchor.
