  • Durable, puncture-resistant nylon cover is washable and features soft polyester Sherpa fleece on one side for enhanced warmth and comfort
  • Thick 1.75-inch self-inflating pad insert is made of compressible foam for a soft, insulating layer of comfort for your canine companion

      Before we got to use this mat camping, we put it down on the floor for our male Rott while he went through his heartworm treatment. His hips were soooooo sore from the injections that this pad aleviated much of the pain. He took right to it! We can't wait to test it out camping, we've also found that it rolls up so small the dogs can carry it themselves on their packpacks!

          The cover is awesome but the pad leaves much to be desired. The air nozzle doesn't close well, so when the dog gets on the mattress the air escapes. (Likewise when you try to pack it, you can't roll it tight because you can't keep the air out.) I sent it back and tried another, same thing. It just seems to be bad construction. It needs a tight locking closure like Thermarests. I wish I could buy just the cover and then a better mattress. Kind of disappointing.

          I bought this for my 2 year old lab to attempt to keep him off me while we go camping. Although he rarely uses it, i sadly have spent a night or two on it and it is very comfortable and warm. I only wish it rolled up a little smaller so i could strap it to his saddle bags instead of me carrying it.

            I would give this more stars except the mattress is definitely not self-inflating, and the valve is a little tricky compared to regular thermarest mattresses. If you want this dog bed to inflate, open the valve and blow air into it, and when it is full press down and turn left until it "catches". Once this is accomplished, the mattress won't deflate.

            I have a 9 year old, 85 pound Lab/Rott mix and a 2 year old, 75 pound Boxer and they both love this bed. If they are not on our bed then they are on this bed. I tested it out myself and it's just as comfy as my Therm-a-rest mattress! I also throw it in the back of our car when we go on trips. Super convenient and super easy to care for.
