Comments about Giro Fuse Ski Helmet:

I feel safer with a helmet. I hardly notice it on my head. Been in 0 to 40 degree weather comfortably. I am starting to see more helmets on the slopes. Riding the chair lift of the 6 chairs in front and 4 behind only 4 people unhelmeted. I have a G10 also and the vent is easier to use on the Fuse. The Fuse looks good too.

Comments about Giro Fuse Ski Helmet:

I've had the fuse helmet for 4 years now (occasional skier/boarder) and it is awesome. What sold me was the adjustable vents the slide closed, open, or halfway with a switch on the back of the head. Plus there are plugs for the vents when it's really cold. As a long time hat wearer, I can honestly say that this helmet is more comfortable, especially with goggles, than any hat.

Comments about Giro Fuse Ski Helmet:

I've been using a Giro Fuse for several years now. They keep my head nice and warm with the vents closed and no extra layers needed even when it's 20 degrees or below. Open the vents up and it's cool enough to wear on the warmest days. I've tried on a bunch of different helmets and have concluded this is one of the most comfortable helmets on the market. The vents are adjustable on the fly for those in between days when its hot in the sun and cold in the shade or on the lift. The only down side is the higher price, but you get what you pay for--a high quality helmet that you can wear the entire season.

Comments about Giro Fuse Ski Helmet:

The actual helmet itself is very solid and light, but I've found the adjustability system in most of the Giro helmets to be weakly constructed. I would glue or adhere the ends which snap into the helmet near the forehead/temple area to prevent them from coming loose. Otherwise, those ends break away and the adjustability system becomes worthless.

My first helmet, and it's great. I don't even notice it's on my head....it's comfortable, keeps my head warm, and hopefully, it will keep me safe, too.
