  • Bi-material shell and cuff use soft materials over the instep and front of the cuff for ease of entry, excellent foot envelopment and progressive flex
  • Second Skin Last envelopes the foot with a performance anatomic fit, so every bit of control pressure is transferred to the ski
  • Spaceframe Shell Profile, with multilayer construction and precise wall thicknesses, optimizes feeling, performance and energy transmission
  • Thin-wall construction of the Second Skin Shell creates a light, sensitive boot, providing superior fit and feel

    Got fitted at REI on Thursday for these. They heated the liners, placed them back in the boot and I wore them for about 15 minutes so the liners could mold to my foot. The boots were very comfortable prior to the molding process and now are perfect.
    Took them skiing Saturday and my feet felt great. These boots are both warm and very supportive in the right areas. Entry and exiting them are very easy and the buckles are highly adjustable. I would highly recommend these to any advanced skiers looking for a great all around boot. These are by far the best boots I have ever owned. (used Technica's previously)

      Comments about Salomon Impact 10 Ski Boots - Men's:

      I have a wider foot than normal and previously had a pair of Nordica Beasts. Switched to the Impact 10s as I also have a high calf and the Nordica's tended to be too loose at the cuff. Because I am such a tight fit in the 10's REI did have to stretch the width on one foot and I had to add heaters to avoid the dreaded frozen feet when temps were below 25. Overall, these are highly responsive boots and a good solution for a hard to fit guy like me who expects a lot from my equipment. I have a full season on these boots using a variety of skis and conditions from ice to deep powder.
