front of boot has a hard mold that does not break in very well. left me with blisters on my toes like I've never had before after a short x-country ski. Will be returning to store.

Actually my son's boot that didn't fit. Parents don't make the same mistake I did, make the child spend some time in the boots. My cost for the correction was a new pair of boots and bindings to go with the proper fitting boots.

Comments about Alpina ST 10 NNN Cross-Country Boots - Men's:

On groomed trails found boot remarkably loose. I wear a size 13. Turning in corners was difficult because of the ankle support I felt I was lacking. Other cross country boots or trail boots I have, have given me way more ankle support. I got luck and purchased these boots on sale thinking it was a steal, jokes on me.

Comments about Alpina ST 10 NNN Cross-Country Boots - Men's:

I own several pairs of boots. These fit best and actually have produced NO blisters. I have high arches so that may be the difference compared to the other reviews. I also wear liner socks and removed the pull tab (I tie the laces old school). Unlike my other boots, the laces go all the way to the toe, which I believe helps with my high arches.

Comments about Alpina ST 10 NNN Cross-Country Boots - Men's:

Admittedly, I have wide feet but even after going up a half size this boot still gave me terrible blisters on the toes, as mentioned by other reviewers. I think this is more than a sizing issue and has to do with the design of the boot - a plastic toe guard that cuts when the boot flexes. After trying the Rossignol boot (also not good for wide feet), I found Fischer to be great.
