Comments about Alpina Control Cross-Country Skis:

This ski is great on moderate groomed trails. Because it lacks metal edges it subpar on steep terrain unless the conditions involve fresh, soft powder. In the powder they work well enough, giving good float and grip. Get these if you want a good ski for moderate trails and don't want to spend much (they are a terrific value for that). If you're skiing difficult terrain on hard snow, get something else unless you're a superhuman skier.

Comments about Alpina Control Cross-Country Skis:

My son's skis and he really likes them after having rentals. Great pricing. Be careful of boot selection with these skis due to boot-binding compatibilities.
