Wear them all the time. In Alaska we live in the snow for several months out of the year. I always seem to have one eye open for a step up in my winter boot gear. I now have a cool boot that is warm and feels good and I love the look!

Bought these because my feet always get cold when snow camping. Amazed at how lightweight they are. I wore them for a weekend camping in the Cascades with only liner socks and my feet were warm (not uncomfortably warm) the entire time. This past weekend I put them through a little more than they were designed for... walked through several streams more than ankle-deep on a rainy day that turned snowy higher up. Discovered that only the bottoms are waterproof; the body of the boot is likely water resistant under normal circumstances. I will note that although my feet were soaked, they were still completely warm. Definitely a great cold-weather boot though. Additional notes: they fit fine in snowshoes; they don't have any ankle support; they have poor traction; they're comfortable to walk in.

I just returned from a cold weekend camping trip and these are the only shoes I needed. Whether I was hanging outside by the fire (which did next to nothing to warm up the single-digit air) or hiking through ice-cold streams, these boots kept my usually-cold feet toasty warm (with only light weight socks). I have thick ankles and most boots are too rigid and painful, but these boots are soft and pliable. They aren't great on slippery surfaces, but it was nothing that a pair of microspikes couldn't fix!

I wear a true size 8.5, but since this boot does not come in half sizes, I ordered up to size 9. To my amazement, they were too short! Toes jammed against the end of the boot. The boots did feel comfortingly snug around the leg for good warmth, so it is with great regret that I send them back.
Buyer beware, these may be great boots, but best if you can try them on in a store rather than ordering online.
Despite the fact that they felt light on my feet, they were surprisingly bulky feeling. Rather walking like Frankenstein.

I bought these to go snowshoeing and they haven't disappointed me yet. They are a bit bulky, but that could be because of the extra liners (removeable). I am sensitive to cold, yet these have kept my feet toasty warm every time.

Bought these in a pinch while we were on our way to go sledding. They are very warm, but hard to walk in and are very clumsy and bulky. The traction is horrible and was I very cautious while walking on perfectly fluffy snow. Gave them another try on an winter hike and after that decided to return them. Very warm, but the traction just wasn't there!

These boots are a bit big for me but I had to buy them in a pinch in a snowstorm. While a bit clumsy, still great for sludging through snow and keeping warm when outside for extended periods of time. The height keeps the snow out and the pull closure lets you choose how snug or loose to wear them.
