This pair of locking straps work great with most recreational kayaks and provides peace of mind while you're away form your vehicle.

  • Die-cast metal cam buckles lock with the simple turn of a key and are encased in a soft plastic that prevents damage to your vehicle or gear
  • Stainless-steel cables running along the outside edges of the tubular webbing prevent the straps from being slashed
  • Soft, 1.25-inch tubular webbing strap is UV resistant and gentle on kayak hulls
  • Cam buckle securely holds strap when lock is engaged or disengaged
  • Lock has a dustcover over the keyhole to prevent snow and dirt from interfering with the locking mechanism
  • Strap length is adequate for most recreational and sit-on-top kayaks—also works great with surfboards, skis and snowboards

    I just built a cedar strip canoe and used this product to secure it to my car rack. We traveled over 300 miles to reach String Lake for our maiden voyage and never had to adjust the straps after the initial tie down. After six days of travel and four days of paddling the canoe returned home safe and free from any ‘rope burns’. It is nice to have one product that can tie the boat to the car, keep it secure and not mar the finish. I am glad I made the purchase.

      These are a must have for anyone that car tops a kayak. You have to strap anyway, so why not use one product that ties down and secures in one step. I have used other types of locking systems and they do not compare.These are very easy to use and very well made. I have purchased 3 sets and use to secure to my trailer. If there is one drawback, it would be that having 3 sets, I have to keep separated when not using. It gets confusing with all the keys. Overall I am happy with this well made and well thought out product. I highly recommend them.
